Our Story
Africa’s youth population is projected to reach nearly 830 million by 2050, making young people the continent’s greatest demographic asset.
Youthing Africa is a youth-powered community platform dedicated to amplifying young voices, building leadership capacity, and creating pathways for opportunity across Africa.
Founded with the belief that Africa’s greatest asset is its young people, Youthing Africa brings together students, creatives, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to learn, connect, and take action on issues that matter — from innovation and climate to mental health, culture, and social impact.
We create spaces where young people are not just participants, but leaders shaping Africa’s future through events, digital media, mentorship programs, community dialogues, and skills-based initiatives.
We work in collaboration with community organizations, schools, creatives, development partners, and private sector stakeholders to design programs that respond to real youth needs. Youthing Africa creates scalable solutions that reach young people both online and on the ground by combining grassroots engagement with digital innovation.
